Is it me or did that weekend fly? Whew...Sunday nights really sneak up on me and I panic about getting all my "moda" looks up on the blog. Fear not...I always usually succeed!
The weather this weekend was the most perfect we've had yet this year! There was a gorgeous breeze and the temp wasn't scalding. We had some good friends of ours come in town to visit with their 2 year old twins, and we literally spent all weekend outside. Friday night we met up at our favorite Mexican watering hole and I got the chance to wear my Annie Griffin Hadley Blouse (check back on Wednesday for Mid Week Muse to see pics). I love how easy & breezy this top is...you can wear it with jeans, shorts, dress it up, dress it down. It's too legit, you don't want to miss out on this top!
Saturday was a great day. We started early and packed as much in as possible before the munchkins melted! Our friends came over for breakfast so that all the boys could play together. Then for lunch we went up to the club to eat & swim in the pool. And then we finished the night in our backyard with the dads playing Kan-Jam, boys running around like crazy, and moms drinking as much as possible. JK! It was just so nice to have everyone together again. I wore my Red Haute tie-dye dress for the occasion. Although I will say...I started peeling accessories & layering sweaters as the night went on. By the time we ate I was in flip flops, a cardigan and zero jewels! It was just such a wonderfully casual day/night with great friends!
Alright lovies...I'm sure you're as sad as I am about the weekend being over...but let's try to seize the day & focus on Friday ;-). EXCELSIOR!!!
