~ Good Morning Everyone ~
How are you doing!? I have soooo many super exciting things to share with you today! First off, how was your weekend? Anything fun, exciting, memorable, terrible? Ours was just beautiful; the weather was absolutely perfect, especially Sunday. Our weekend was all about Football...literally. Friday night we decided to head up to my husband's High School Alma Mater for some "Friday Night Lights." Plus, this is also the school I taught at before deciding to stay at home with my son, so it felt like "old home week" for both of us. We did a little tailgating (pg style) with hot dogs & boiled peanuts, but the best part was being with Wake as he experienced his first HS football game; which as you know is much more up close & personal then college football or the NFL.
Saturday we watched the Florida game with some friends (and that's all I'm going to say...we'll be moving right along from that topic permanently), and then finished the weekend at the Jags game, which was amazing because we won!!! Finally, one of my teams got their heads out of their asses.
Now for Friday night, our team's colors were black & red; which I rarely wear on weekends for obvious reasons. But the weather was just mild enough that I was able to finally pull out my booties and plaid. AND...it is my opinion that pearls are appropriate with any outfit for any event.

NEXT...if you live in the NE Florida/SE Georgia area, don't forget about tonight's "Pampers & Pearls Rock Star Breast Cancer Party" at fab'rik Jacksonville benefiting The Donna Foundation. The event goes from 6 - 8pm and 20% of the proceeds from the night will benefit women living with cancer on The First Coast. So please come out, because what's a better way to cure a "case of the Monday's" then shopping for a cause while sipping champagne!?
