Five on Friday: Orange is the New Black

According to Elle Magazine (and the Spring 2014 runway) Orange is the new Black.  And no, I'm not talking about the Netflix series, I'm talking about the color.  I have always loved the color orange, which is good, because apparently "the fiery hue has been spotted all over the spring 2014 ready-to-wear shows, making its way from the season's It lip to its clothes, bags, and shoes." Therefore this weeks Five on Friday is dedicated to my favorite orange items for summer AND they are all on sale (Thank you Nordstrom & Bloomies).  SAVVY SHOPPER ALERT!

Orange you glad I shared all of this with you!?!? Now I hope this goes without saying, but I wouldn't wear a bunch of these items together.  I know I'm no Rachel Zoe, but dressing like an Oompa Loompa is never a good look. The greatest thing about orange though, is that it comes in a variety of hues (although bright/neon is the most popular right now) and almost anyone can wear it; except my mother...she looked horrible in orange.  In all honesty I would either wear one of the dresses/outfits (I'm drooling over that Catharine Malandrino strapless jumpsuit...dying!) with neutral accessories OR  a "bland" outfit with orange accessories.  There's just so much you can do with all of this! Have fun playing dress up y'all!!
